Frozen Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to users of The Yau Brothers and Co Online Store (www.yaubros.co.uk) and all other businesses carried out by us.
By using our website (placing an order etc), these terms and conditions apply to you.
When ordering any fresh or frozen items, you will incur an additional surcharge of £4.80. This covers the extra cost for the chilled boxes with insulating liners and high-performance, gel ice packs. These boxes have been designed & validated to keep your perishable products chilled below +5°C for 24 hours.
When ordering both Ambient and Frozen level items, your order will be dispatched as one consignment. However, your order will arrive in 2 separate boxes. We do this to ensure that your chilled and frozen items remain at the optimum temperature before being collected from us by Parcelforce. This also allows us to keep costs as low as possible for our customers.
If you qualify for free shipping for spending £60 or over, the chilled/frozen surcharge of £4.80 will still apply to bring your total shipping cost to £4.80.
Please ensure that you are home and able to accept the delivery on the day, any delay in getting your order due to not being home will decrease the quality of your temperature-controlled items and Yau Brothers are not liable for any damages or costs in this scenario. You can check the progress of your parcel by following the tracking information provided by Parcelforce once your parcel has been dispatched. We recommend placing your items into the fridge/freezer as soon as you receive them, should you have any complaints please issue these to us within 2 hours of receiving your items.
Certain items may be slightly defrosted upon delivery such as Char Siu Bao and other dumpling products due to the flour content. These products will still be frozen in the center and still meet the Standard for Food Safety Requirements. To ensure that your box remains as cool as possible we also recommend that you add extra items like frozen meats as these will help to keep your items frozen.
We will be dispatching orders as normal Monday-Friday, please be aware that if your order is placed after 12 midday Thursday or on Friday and contains and Fresh/Frozen items, your order will not be dispatched until the following Monday. This is due to Parcelforce not offering next-day delivery across the weekend.
